An early callingEmergency department nurses Marilyn and Tim Ward—husband and wife—inspired my path toward nursing and medicine.

1988–1989

Emergency medical services1988: Licensed Ambulance Attendant. 1989: Emergency Medical Technician. Founded East Corinth Junior Volunteer Ambulance Service and served as its first president.

2007–2008

Registered nurse foundationDiploma in Nursing, followed by the RN–BSN: the foundation for a career centered on skilled, compassionate care.

2018

MSN in Nursing InformaticsConnecting clinical practice, evidence, technology, and data to strengthen care and improve systems.

2019

Nursing EducationPost-Master’s preparation in Nursing Education, expanding my work in teaching, mentorship, and professional development.
